About “Last Of Us”
It may be unknown to some of you. Well, Last of Us is an action-adventure video game. Naughty Dog developed the game and Sony Computer Entertainment published it. The game was released on 14th June 2013 worldwide. It is only a PlayStation Console game that is available on PS3 and PS4. Last of Us has both single-player and multiplayer modes.
The plot of the game is Joel, a smuggler escorts a girl named Ellie in the post-apocalyptic US. Players can use firearms and stealth to defeat enemies and cannibalistic creatures. So, it is not so hard to imagine what it will look when HBO turns it into a TV show.

When HBO announced about it on 6th March 2020, it takes little time to believe. But yes, it’s real. The upcoming series is having lots of rumors about its plot. Well, it seems HBO will cover the original content and details from the game. Even it may possible that they can add some part of the games next sequel “The Last of Us 2”. Gustavo Santaolalla will be in charge of the series soundtrack just like he made for the award-winning games.

Characters, Release Date, And More!
HBO already announced some of the characters for the TV adaptation. Joel and Ellie will be present in the show because they are the main protagonists. Except for them, there will be Riley (Ellie’s girlfriend), Tess (Joel’s companion), Maria (Joel’s Sister-in-law), and Marlene will show up in the series. They didn’t even declare the cast also. However, fans are rooting for Hugh Jackman and Maisie Williams as Joel and Ellie respectively. Although it doesn’t have any official confirmation.
HBO announced the confirmation about the show, but they didn’t say anything about the exact release date yet. But we can expect the series arrival in 2021 or 2022 if there is not any delay because of the COVID-19 outbreak.
