Kristen Wiig ‘welcomes twins with fiancé Avi Rothman via surrogate’

Kristen Wiig, our hotshot favourite from SNL has reportedly welcomed twins with fiancé Avi Rothman.
Their babies were born via a surrogate earlier this year.
The 46-year-old star of Bridesmaids and Ghostbusters got engaged to Rothman in August 2019 and welcomed twins this year.
The Situation
Last month only Kristen returned to Saturday Night Live to be the host of a special Mother’s Day ‘At Home’ episode.
During the show, she hinted that she had become a mother by thanking her own mum, Laurie Johnston, for “preparing me to be a mom myself.”
e coronavirus lockdown special of the long-running comedy show saw Kristen share: “This is the Mother’s Day show, and at SNL, it’s a very special time to celebrate moms.

“Unfortunately, probably like a lot of you, I can’t be with my mom on this Mother’s Day. So I hope it’s OK, I would like to tell her I love her.”
Kristen continued: “I don’t know if I truly appreciated my mom the first 45 years of my life. But this year I’m feeling especially grateful for her advice, her love.
“I’m so thankful for all the things she’s taught me, like preparing to be a mom myself.”
The reported new mum added: “Things like breastfeeding. Babies love that chicken, she would always say that.”
