Imagine you’re scrolling through Netflix, and you come across a title you haven’t heard of. Still, you give it a shot, and it turns out to be phenomenal. And then the creators cancel the show. It is just gut wrenching. And that is something we 29hope won’t happen with Julie and the Phantoms Season 2. Julie and the Phantoms Season 1, while not immensely popular, has a considerable fan following. Out of this, most are die hard fans of the show. This underrated gem is one of the most adorable shows and Netflix and we just cannot wait for its second season.

Julie and the Phantoms: About the Show
The quite underrated Netflix series follows Julie and her adventures as she comes across three band boys who just want to see their band on the big stage one day. The show follows Julie as she helps these boys get their much deserved popularity for their band. Julie is the crown jewel of the show and it is only with her help that the band can grow, and the phantoms establish their presence on a wider level.
The show comes from the creator of High School Musical, Kenny Ortega. Ortega is quite famous for his work and the signature Ortega style is quite visible here too. The show is one that is suitable for all age groups, given the playful and cute nature. It surely gives Disney vibes, and that is a given with Kenny Ortega at the steering wheel. It makes for a good watch for both kids and adults alike.
The show was released on Netflix on September 20th, 2020, on the global scale and was met with a lot of love from the audiences, especially the younger tween age crowd. In fact, sources state that the show has been the best attempt Netflix has ever had at appealing to the younger teenage crowd, and it has the statistics to vouch for that.

Julie and the Phantoms Season 2: Renewal And Release Date
The show, while being a hit among the younger crowd, simply hasn’t been able to reap in the profits that Netflix had hoped it would. The series premiered in September of 2020 and it has been more than 8 months since then. Netflix continues to remain silent on the whole situation and that is not a good sign. It has been a long time and by now, Netflix would have shown some interest in a second season of the show.
So far, it seems like Netflix is calling it a day with Julie and the Phantoms. On the other hand, there have been rumours that Netflix is already working on pre production for the show. And that a renewal might be coming along soon. Which is again plausible as it takes some time for the pre production to complete after which the studios announce the renewal of the show so that could also be the case for this show here.
So if the show does get a renewal, which is a 50-50 at this point as to whether Netflix decides to go forward with a second season, it won’t be at least until the June of ’22 that we get to watch the second season given the fact that the production cycles usually take around 13 months and at best 12 months. Given this, we can confirm as a fact that Julie and the Phantoms would not be coming out before June of ’22, if it does so at all.
So far, all we can say is that Julie and the Phantoms is much awaited and we would love to watch the show return for a second season. We hope that Netflix makes the right call here.

Julie and the Phantoms Season 2: How to Watch
For fans of the show, season 2 of the show will probably be released on Netflix. Given that Netflix has all the power in this case, it would make sense.
