A bigger family! Josh Duhamel, 50, and his wife, Audra Mari, 29, revealed “soon” on Sept. 11 that they are going to have their first child. “Baby Duhamel is coming soon,” they wrote in the text of their joint Instagram post, which was a picture of their baby taken from an ultrasound. This will be the actor’s second kid. He and his ex-wife Fergie, 48, already have a 10-year-old son named Axl.
As soon as the couple shared the post with Josh’s 2.3 million followers, many of them commented to tell them how cute the news was. “I just thought about you this morning!” Clare Crawley, who is also having a child, was full of excitement. At the same time, a different friend praised Audra on becoming a mother. “Congratulations, Audra! Being a mom is the best!” they wrote.

After their first year of marriage, Audra and her husband told everyone they were having a baby. On September 10, 2022, about three years after he broke up with Fergie, the Hollywood hunk married the 29-year-old. On their anniversary, Audra shared a picture from their wedding on Instagram as a way to honor the day with Josh. “Happy First Anniversary, sweet man! Oh, how I prayed for you..,” she wrote in the post’s description, along with a white heart emoji.
A person close to the couple told PEOPLE more than a year before the baby news came out that Audra wanted to have children with Josh. They said that she would “love to have kids with Josh” and that she was also “getting to know” Josh and Fergie’s boy. “Josh spends a lot of time with his son,” the person said at the time. They also said that Axl’s proud dad is “very protective of him” and that Audra didn’t meet him for a while.
