Barbara Pierce Bush and her spouse, Craig Coyne, recently welcomed their son, Edward Finn.
Jenna Bush Hager, Barbara Pierce Bush’s sister, disclosed on Monday, August 5, that she and her husband, Craig Coyne, have welcomed their second child.
“My sissy had a little mister and I fell madly in love with Edward Finn! ❤️💗👼,” the Today co-anchor, 42, captioned a carousel of photos on Instagram.
A photograph of Jenna nurturing her infant nephew was included in the gallery. Jenna observed Barbara, who was also 42, as she held Edward. Edward was depicted in his mother’s bosom in the third photograph.
The author of children’s books and her spouse are already the parents of a daughter named Cora Georgia, who will be three years old in September.
The reports that Edward is sporting a headdress from NYU Langone Health, although Jenna declined to disclose any further details regarding her nephew’s birth.
In a joint statement, her grandparents, former President George W. Bush and former First Lady Laura Bush, announced the birth of Cora.
“With full hearts, @laurawbush and I are delighted to announce the birth of our new granddaughter. Barbara gave birth to Cora Georgia Coyne on September 27, 2021, in Maine – not far from our family home where Barbara and Craig were married,” they said in October 2021. “Cora is healthy and adorable, and we are proud and grateful.”

During her November 2023 appearance on The Kelly Clarkson Show with Jenna, the proud mother disclosed that her toddler daughter did not appear to be in the “terrible twos” at the time.
“That’s what I’m scared of, that it’s just delayed,” Barbara said, adding, “And I keep saying she’s perfect, and then she’s gonna sneak up on me.”
Of her toddler’s personality, Barbara shared that the little one is “super joyful.”
“Meow was her first word, but her other word is ‘no,’ ” she said. “She’s a totally unreliable narrator. She’ll be eating watermelon and I’ll say, ‘Oh is that watermelon?’ ‘No.’ “
“She’s already gaslighting her!” Jenna chimed in. “It starts at a young age.”
“She does it with the cutest voice,” Barbara said in Cora’s defense. “So now 15 years from now, she’s been encouraged to act like this by her mother.”
“That’s gaslighting,” her twin doubled down.
Jenna, who co-authored Love Comes First with her twin sister, and her spouse Henry Hager are also parents. Mila, 11, and Poppy, 9, are their daughters, while Hal, 5, is their son.
