International Foundation Training Programs for Students

By

Hadley Bourn

The programs of preparation for admission to universities in the UK (International Foundation, International Year One) are mandatory for all students who receive an 11-year secondary education.

This means that to enroll in universities in England, foreign school graduates must first enroll in a preparatory program lasting 1 academic year, complete it and continue their studies at the 1st year of the university in the chosen specialty. This preparatory program is quite complicated, so most students turn to essay writing help for support.

The United Kingdom is one of those countries that has developed programs for international students whose level of secondary education differs from the British one. In this regard, many international colleges for international students were founded.

The purpose of such educational institutions is to prepare a student for admission and study at a British university. Colleges work in partnership with universities in the UK and some cases even provide an opportunity for guaranteed admission to the university.
