While walking the red carpet in France, the English actress gave her characteristic look a new spin by incorporating a new look.
Taking her trademark bow trend to the next level is what Kate Beckinsale is doing currently!
As of late, the Jolt actress, who is fifty years old, has been using social media to flaunt her love of bows that are excessively large. On the other hand, the English actress opted for a more sophisticated look on Tuesday, July 23, when she left her whimsical style behind.
Beckinsale channeled classic glam vibes while posing for photographs at the Summer Gala by Gala One at Golf Club Saint-Tropez in Gassin, France. She wore a strapless black velvet gown that was form-fitting and featured a plunging, structured neckline.
For a touch of dramatic flair, she wore textured gold metallic bows that were resting at her hip region.
The high ponytail that Beckinsale wore was reminiscent of the Old Hollywood style of the 1960s. She adorned her look with a pair of gold chandelier earrings and a single bracelet with a leopard print that was worn on the left wrist.
Eiza González Rivera, Camila Cabello, and Emma Roberts were among the other celebrities who were present at the Summer Gala hosted by Gala One. Kylie Minogue also gave a performance at the event.
The singer of “Señorita” and the actress who recently became engaged in American Horror Story: Delicate both wore black for the big occasion, just like Beckinsale did. On the other hand, the genius from the Ministry of Ungentlemanly Warfare chose to walk around in a naked gown instead.
In the days leading up to the star-studded event that took place on Tuesday, Beckinsale responded to critics who had critical criticism over her preference for wearing large bows.
“Please take that ridiculous bow off,” a user said on the Underworld star’s Instagram carousel that was posted on June 17th.
The actress answered with the same amount of snark as the person who was trolling on social media.
“As I said before, take that expression off your bitter a– face. Unless you can’t. In which case, condolences,” Beckinsale replied.
Within the comment area of her post, another user submitted a note that compared Beckinsale to “a toddler competing in a pageant.”
“You can’t be that happy if you have any time or inclination to actually type concerns about what someone you don’t know is wearing or not,” she wrote back.
In a more recent development, the star of Total Recall posted an explanation video on Instagram, stating that “some, not all” of the people who follow her on social media “get upset” and do not believe that she is “doing enough age-appropriate things.”
“I thought I’d let them kick off their week with a little stab of joy, of me putting on a hair net,” she said, later adding, “So for those of you who are gonna get off on this, have a look, b——.”
“Let’s have a toast for the douche bags / Let’s have a toast for the a——- / Let’s have a toast for the scumbags,” she captioned the clip, adding several emojis blowing kisses.
