Hollyoaks, the popular British soap opera, is going to air some special episodes focused on one of the show’s most famous villains. This is part of the Hollyoaks Favourites compilation of episodes that E4 is airing now.
Hollyoaks Airing Reruns Surrounding Clare Devine
They’re essentially showing reruns now since the coronavirus pandemic has halted the show’s production. However, all of the reruns so far haven’t gone too far into the show’s long history. That may be about to change soon, though.
Starting from May 20, 2020, the show’s going all the way back to 2006. This is because they’re now going to focus on the character of Clare Devine, one of the show’s fan-favourite villains.
Clare Devine Actress Will Intro Episodes Of Hollyoaks Favourites
Gemma Bissix played the character for a duration of 7 years, from 2006 to 2013. She is getting in on the nostalgia trip along with all the fans, too. She’s going to introduce each episode from her home. They may get some interesting tidbits from her time on Hollyoaks during these intros.
Should be really fun for fans of Hollyoaks who have followed it all this time. Usually, the show airs five episodes a week. However, for the duration of this hiatus, they’re only airing three episodes a week on Channel 4. The Hollyoaks Favourites special, which these episodes are a part of, is airing on E4 instead.

Hollyoaks Had To Suspend Production Due To Coronavirus
Hollyoaks is one of many soap operas that has had to suspend production due to the coronavirus pandemic. In fact, these reruns are to compensate for the fact that they haven’t been able to film new episodes.
“We will start the series with Mercedes’ fourth wedding, to Dr Browning,” reads the statement announcing these plans. “Soaps are an important part of people’s lives and we have 25 years of Hollyoaks Favourites to revisit over coming weeks, celebrating the history of the show that you love,” it continues.
It also says, “We will remain as present as ever on our social platforms so please keep in touch with us here, stay safe and take care of yourselves. Thank you for your ongoing support.”
