Warner Bros. Discovery is reportedly looking to move further with a film adaption of Harry Potter and the Cursed Child movie, after the failure of Fantastic Beasts.

The Wizarding World has experienced it’s own ups as well as downs throughout the years, however it’s momemntum slowed down after Harry Potter and the Deathly Hollows Part 2 and it was ended with Daniel Radcliffe’s on-screen adventure as the titular wizard in 2011.

Moreover, the Fantastic Beasts films did return to Hogwarts and even feature Albus Dumbledore in a beneficial role, few viewers pointed out that it didn’t have the same magic which the Harry Potter movies translate.

Some online reports confirms that current plan to extend the Harry Potter series is for Warner Bros. Discovery CEO David Zaslav and film executives Michael De Luca and Pam Abdy to go hard after a film adaption of Harry Potter and the Cursed Child Movie which would be called as Harry Potter 9.

Harry Potter and the Cursed Child Movie story is an original plotline which is adapted as a theatre play and penned by Jack Thorne that is set 19 years after the events of Harry Potter and the Deathl Hallows.

Well, this movie will follow Harry’s son named Albus Severus Potter as the protagonist of the movie. Moreover, it will still managed to include the lead trio Harry, Ron and Hermione along with Draco Malfoy with some great roles.

Will J.k Rowling Approve the Adaption of Harry Potter and the Cursed Child Movie?

Well, the demand for Harry Potter centric movie is very high and this latest report has been managed to shed some light on how complicated it is for Warner Bros. Discovery to move further with a fresh take on the Wizarding World.

As of now, it seems that a live action adaption of Harry Potter and the Cursed Child Movie is the best way if the studio really wants to continue the franchise of Harry Potter which is beloved by fans and viewers.

However, there are plenty of factors for conducting the film like availability and willingness of actors, conflicts of schedules and above all approval of J. K. Rowling.

It is not clear if Rowling is willing to give the positive signal for a potential reboot, but it is likely that the author could approve Harry Potter and the Cursed Child Movie.

Well, continuing the story of Harry, Ron and Hermione would be a quick boost for the series especially when there is a huge demand for the Harry Potter centric movie.
