In the game, the gamers play as Gordon Freeman, who is a scientist. He must find a way out of the Black Mesa Research Facility after an experiment with an alien material goes wrong.
About Half-Life: Alyx
The game takes place before the return Gordon Freeman Half-Life 2. The gamers will play as Alyx Vance. She is part of Freeman’s ally. Alyx and her father, Eli Vance fight the Combine, an alien empire that has conquered earth.
Players will use VR to throw objects, get supplies, use interfaces and while engaging in combat.
What Fans Should Expect From Half-Life: Alyx
Valve Corporation said that the game is only available in VR. It will not be supported on a flat-screen display. Players will be able to play it with a sitting and standing position. The game will provide three different VR movement styles.
These styles include the teleport mechanic where you aim a wand in the direction you would like to go and an analog stick or a shift mechanic that sounds intriguing. The game has been updated with all the virtual reality tools and components to provide the players with the best VR gaming experience.
The requirements of the game are Windows 10 computer with a Core i5-7500 or Ryzen 5 1600 or better if the budget allows. A GTX 1060 or RX 580 graphics card is also required along with 12 GB of RAM.
A lot of new and unique gameplay has been added to the game to make it more interesting. Valve Corporation and Electronic Arts plan to add more adjustments and features to the game after they see the kind of response they get from customers globally and all those mighty players of the classic Half-Life game after keeping them waiting for 12 years since the launch of Half-Life 2 back in 2007.
