The Steam users added around 950,000 VR headsets in April. It has become quite evident that Half-Life Alyx has spiked up the use of VR in gaming like never before. Also, the Steam data suggests that there are over 2.7 million connected headsets.
But only 1.9% of Steam players have a VR headset. It will take some time before this technology becomes common amongst gamers.
