“Any guesses on [what] next week’s fruit or veggie will be?” Blanchard inquired in her social media post.
Gypsy-Rose Blanchard enjoys every moment of her pregnancy.
The expectant mother, 33, announced on Wednesday, Aug. 21, that she has formally entered the 18th week of her pregnancy, which has resulted in her child being the size of a bell pepper.
She posted a photo on Instagram with caption: “Any guesses on [what] next week’s fruit or veggie will be?” she wrote next to a photo of herself lying down with a yellow bell pepper sitting on top of her growing baby bump.
Blanchard, who also included the hashtags “#BabyBump #WeeklyProduceUpdate #GypsyPregnancyJourney #MomToBe #18weeks” in her caption, also disclosed her current condition by displaying a handwritten sign on a nearby bedside. She stated that she is experiencing a desire for cake and is beginning to “feel movement.”
The Gypsy Rose: Life After Lock Up star disclosed the rationale behind her dedication to self-education throughout her pregnancy earlier that day.
“When I first learned that I am expecting, as a first time mom, I had many questions. Education is key in all aspects of life. Here are some insightful pregnancy facts that I learned along my journey. 🤰 #pregnancy #firsttimemom,”wrote Blanchard next to screenshots of articles on Instagram.
The mother-to-be also shared an Instagram Stories photo of a book she is currently reading, which contains a chapter titled “The Fifth Month.”
In July, Blanchard disclosed in a tearful YouTube video that she is expecting her first child with her fiancé, Ken Urker.
The former inmate and Munchausen by proxy victim disclosed to the extent to which the news had an impact on their rekindled relationship.
“I’m not going to say that I think that a baby will help a marriage or a relationship, because obviously there’s the added stress,” she said. “I know that realistically, there’s going to be arguments too. But [Ken and I] both come from divorced parents and one thing we absolutely agreed on from day one, even back when we were dating in 2017, is that when we have a child, we will stick together for the long haul.”
“This is a forever thing because we don’t want our child to grow up in a broken home,” continued Blanchard.
Days after she and Urker were able to observe their “baby girl up close with a 2D ultrasound,” which she documented on her YouTube channel, she has provided her most recent update.
