On January 10, 2022, the American Broadcasting Company released the official trailer for the next 19th season of the American medical drama television show Grey’s Anatomy (ABC). It debuted on October 6, 2022, to kick off the broadcast television season of 2022–. The show is also co-produced by ABC Signature and Shondaland.

Will Ellen Pompeo Appear in Grey’s Anatomy season 19?
Ellen’s part would be restricted to a “limited capacity,” Deadline reported in August. In season 19 of Grey’s Anatomy, she will only appear in eight episodes. Despite spending less time on the drama, Ellen is not fully quitting. She will continue to serve as executive producer and narrator for every episode.. TVLine also reported that she’s returning for the season 19 finale in May.
The unexpected move was made not long after it was made public that she would create and star in a future limited series for Hulu. The program will be based on the life of Natalia Grace, a woman of Ukrainian descent who was adopted by Kristine and Michael Barrett and who claimed she was actually an adult acting as a kid. Although Meredith Grey working fewer hours at Grey Sloan is disappointing, the information is still quite wonderful for Ellen. Even though her character wouldn’t appear in as many episodes this season, she made care to reassure her fans that she will still be around.

Jesse Williams, who memorably portrayed Dr. Jackson Avery for 12 seasons until departing in 2021, is one individual who isn’t the least bit worried about Ellen’s minimal role this season. It’s heartbreaking news, no doubt, but as an intern, all you hear is “brain injury,” so your instinct is to jump straight to the point where you’re there in the operating room with a bag of organs.

Amelia (Caterina Scorsone) promptly stops that line of thought. She points out that these individuals were alive yesterday, and their relatives are currently awaiting word on whether they are brain dead. I’m not sure why EVERY single patient is practically in the same room, but seeing bed after bed of folks who could be brain-dead was depressing. Amelia evaluates each person one at a time, and Adams’ patient is the first to be deemed brain dead. When Amelia advises him to be kind and kind when explaining to this young man’s parents that their son has no brain activity, his skull almost explodes.
