Rockstar Games announced the launch of its most famous game, Grand Theft Auto 6 to be released later this month. After the massive success of all the GTA series, the fans have been waiting for the new release of GTA 6.

However, some say that the game is still under development and is facing problems to officially move forward to launch GTA 6. Read ahead to know more.

About Grand Theft Auto

Grand Theft Auto is an action-adventure free world video game created by Rockstar North, Digital Eclipse and published by Rockstar Games. It first released on 21st October 1997.

Since then, it has launched more than 7 Grand Theft Auto sequels. They include Vice City, Chinatown Wars, Liberty City, San Andreas, GTA 5, etc. The last game, GTA 5 was launched in 2013 and remains amongst the top 5 free world and online games to be played amongst the gamers.

Across all the GTA games developed till now, the base of the game remains the same. You play as a character in the city who fights and deals with gangsters, triads and rich businessmen in the city. The aim is to move up the ladder, earn money and establish your name in the city.

About GTA 6

According to the sources, earlier rumors were that the game would be based in the city of Paris. However, later in a press release, Rockstar Games announced that GTA 6 will be set up mostly in the United States.

Since all the previous GTA series were available on PC, it is anticipated that GTA 6 will also make its way on PC. So far, there has been no news about the storyline of the game. But the fans have already started to make assumptions about what can be the possible storyline.

Problems And Rumor Regarding  GTA 6

Though the game was believed to be released in March-end this year, according to reputable industry analyst Michael Pachter, the game’s actual release can move forward to 2022. GTA 6 is still in its development phase.

After a massive success of Red Dead Redemption 2, developed by Rockstar Games, the company is focussing on getting ‘Red Dead Online’ running.

Rockstar Games released GTA 5 Diamond Casino which is an online multiplayer game with live online missions. This gives us a hint that Rockstar Games is not yet ready to officially publicize any content related to GTA 6.

There were rumors that GTA 6 might launch with the launch of PS5, however, Sony Playstation Ltd later made a statement that nothing has been made official so yet.

This again gives the fans a hint that we still might have to wait for another 2-3 years before we place our hands on the official GTA 6 game.
