Last year in December 2020, we saw Fire Force Season 2 ending on a brilliant note. And since then, fans are hoping to see Fire Force Season 3 getting released pretty soon.
Even though Fire Force Season 2 ended with a gruesome final battle and the final few episodes teased with what’s to come in the next season.
In the next season, the Fire Force Company 8 vows to team together with the other companies to face off against the real threats that have made themselves known over the course of the season. With so many mysteries still lingering, fans have turned their attention to the future.
Fire Force Season 3 possible release date
When it comes to Fire Force Season 2 ending, not everyone liked it the way its Anime studio expected it to be. To simple put it, the Anime had a bittersweet ending.
Season 2 ended on a bittersweet note as one of the Fire Force captains was killed by a newly introduced White Clad with a golden arm. Hague’s death, however, marked the unification of the entire Fire Force including the proto-nationalists of Company 4 to make a stand against the White Clads.
The last scene of season 2 featured Company 8 with Captain Obi giving an encouraging speech to his subordinates with regards to an upcoming war against the Evangelist.
After the end credits rolled, fans were left with the message またね (mata ne), which roughly translates to, “See you again.” Note that the season 1 finale also concluded with the same message. While the message did not reveal other detail, it was a good indication that “Fire Force” season 3 is in the works.
However, before we boasts too much of getting a new season. The report pointed out that David Production, the studio working on the anime adaptation of Atsushi Ohkubo’s manga series, has several projects likely to be released in 2021. It is then expected that “Fire Force” season 3 will not premiere until 2022 or later.
If so this is true then you’re looking for a long hiatus after the Fire Force Season 2. Even though there won’t be any announcements in the coming weeks, I would recommend you to stay with us to find the release date of Fire Force Season 3 before anyone else.
Fire Force Season 3 anime spoilers
Spoilers for Fire Force Season 3 Episode 1 assume that Fire Fore Episode 49 will begin adapting Chapter 175.
The last time audiences watched the anime, Shinra, Arthur, and Tamaki have returned to Asakusa to get another massive power up from training with Captain Shinmon.
Following the assassination of Captain Hague, the Emperor orders Company 1 to cooperate with the White-Clad forces for the sake of “unity”.
Meanwhile, Company 7 has allied with Company 7 and they’re feeling confident that they can finally solve the mystery of spontaneous human combustion. But when Captain Obi goes to discuss the matter with the Fire Chief their meeting is cut short when the Tokyo Army marches in and arrests Captain Obi!
Company 8 finds themselves being attacked from all corners of the Tokyo Empire. Even the media is claiming they were involved in a kidnapping.
Branded as outlaws, Company 8 decides to rescue its Captain even knowing that the attempt will be considered treason.
Unfortunately, anime fans will have to wait until the Fire Force Season 3 release date to watch what happens next. Stay tuned!
Final Thoughts
Fire Force Season 3 will probably end with a trilogy and third will be the last season in the series.
