The Brazilian mixed martial artist was born on March 31, 1994. He grew up in Macapa, Amapa, Colares. At the very young age of 7 years, he started to learn and practice Judo. Thereafter, at the age of 15, he shifted to Brazilian jiu-jitsu, taekwondo, and Muay Thai.
He was a player in the Bantamweight division and featherweight division. Felipe was a black belt winner in Brazilian jiu-jitsu and in Judo too.
In the early stage of his career, while fighting within the Brazilian regional MMA circuit, he collected an undefeated record of 8-0. He signed the contract with UFC in 2019 and made a debut against Geraldo de Freitas on February 2, 2019, but unfortunately lost it.
His mixed martial record includes a total of 16 matches. He won 12 of them and lost 4 matches- 1 by knockout and 3 by unanimous decisions.
Colares received huge love from his fans in January when he shared a video himself on Instagram of knocking down an alleged thief in Brazil. He stated that when he saw the thief assaulting a woman, he at once sprung into action for the lady.
After the death of a former UFS fighter, he is survived by his wife Jacqueline and a 6-month-old son.

The Brazilian mixed martial artist Luis Felipe Colares had an untimely and unexpected death on Monday, May 1, 2023.
The veteran died after he met with an accident in Rio De Janeiro. Felipe was struck by a bus on Monday morning.
The sources stated that Felipe was run over by a bus when he was coming back home after his training.
He was soon taken to a nearby hospital by the first responders. But Felipe could not make it to the hospital because of his severe injuries and he died on the way to the hospital – according to the reports of Combate.
