Fantastic Beasts 3: What To Expect

As a Harry Potter fan, it’s inevitable that at some point, you’d have come across some Marauders-related Tumblr post. Of course, this is just my opinion and should have no personal bearing on what you like and dislike. But I simply don’t like the Marauders era all that much.

I don’t hate any of the Marauders-era characters, it’s just that I think that the backstory given in the Potter books was enough; and certainly don’t want to see a retread of Voldemort as the main villain and his rise. That is just me though! I personally prefer to see more of Dumbledore and Grindelwald’s proxy war against each other.

Crimes of Grindelwald certainly took a very dark turn; what with major characters switching sides and pledging their allegiances. I’m very much curious to see how that story progresses and there’s something about the World War-era setting that intrigues me more than anything.

Is Credence Really Aurelius?

For one, now that we’re getting into the meat of the story, we’re gonna see how Newt’s character changes and not to mention, more info on the Dumbledore-Grindelwald relationship, along with a bunch of other cool new Wizarding cultures.

I mean, it’s cool to see Hogwarts again but I’d prefer to be in small doses than the entirety of the film taking place at Hogwarts if y’all know what I mean.

As it stands, the third Fantastic Beasts will take us to Rio de Janerio and Berlin. And it’s a safe bet that the Rio scenes will focus on the Newt-Dumbledore story as they try to break the Blood Pact. On the other hand, the Berlin story makes more sense for Grindelwald and co (which now sadly includes Queenie and Credence.)

In any case, the next installment is certainly going to be very interesting, to see how it all pans out.
