The glittering ensemble she donned to ‘The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon’ was also noticeable.
Elizabeth Banks’ moment has arrived.
During the premiere of her most recent film, Skincare, on Tuesday, August 13, the actress, who is 50 years old, donned a silver cowl-neck sequin dress in New York City. Her mini dress was adorned with a variety of sequins that grew in size as it approached the bottom. She completed her ensemble with a pair of black hosiery and an oversized black bolero.
Banks complemented her dress with a silver baguette purse and a pair of black pointed-toe heels that seamlessly blended in. She maintained a loose, undulating blowout for her hair, while her makeup was characterized by a soft pink-hued eyeshadow and dark purple lipstick, which added to the drama.
The actress was also observed in the same dazzling ensemble during her appearance as a guest on The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon on Tuesday. However, for that occasion, she refrained from wearing her bolero, allowing the shimmering dress to be the focal point.
In Skincare, Banks portrays a celebrity aesthetician named Hope Goldman who is at the peak of her career until she is embroiled in a scandal after her email is compromised, allegedly by a rival aesthetician who has recently relocated to the area.
In addition to Luis Gerardo Méndez, Michaela Jaé Rodriguez, and Nathan Fillion, the film also features Lewis Pullman as Hope’s friend Jordan. Austin Peters directed Skincare from a script he co-authored with Sam Freilich and Deering Regan.

“I didn’t know it at all. I had never heard about it. I was just all in on Hope Goldman and this character and the sort of milieu of L.A.,” she told in July.
The Hunger Games alumna attributed her inspiration for the role to a facialist named Matty, whom she had previously encountered in person.
“She was very much this Hope Goldman character in my mind, in that she had her own little place on 3rd Street in L.A., and she was recommended to me by an agent — Johnny Depp’s agent — who said, ‘Well, Johnny went to Matty,’ and listed other clients who had gone to Matty.”
“So when I read the script, that’s what I was thinking,” she continued. “I was like, ‘I’m going to base it on Matty.’ “
The film “Skincare” will be released in theaters on August 16.
