Dragon Ball Z is the sequel to the first Dragon Ball series. Like the first series, Dragon Ball Z is about Son Goku and his friends protecting Earth from many bad guys. There are a lot of dangerous enemies that can threaten the safety of the Earth, so our heroes need to be just as strong and powerful.
So, it will be interesting to see which warriors in the Dragon Ball Z saga are the strongest. So, let’s find out which 10 Dragon Ball Z characters are the strongest.
Super Buu
Evil Buu turned Good Buu into Super Buu, which was a dangerous form of Buu. This Super Buu was very strong and had a very bad temper. It was easy for this version of Buu to get angry, and it was said that if he got mad enough, he would even tear the walls between dimensions.
In addition to being powerful and crazy, Super Buu was also very dangerous because he could absorb other warriors. He could even take on Gotenks (the form that Gohan and Trunk make when they join together), Piccolo, and Ultimate Gohan. Super Buu might not be a threat to Super Saiyan Blue Goku or Super Saiyan Blue Vegeta, but that’s not a guarantee. But back in the day, Super Buu was a very scary being that only Vegito, the combined form of Goku and Vegeta, could beat.
Gohan
Gohan was Goku’s first son, and people said he could be better than his father. During the Perfect Cell Saga, Gohan showed how talented he was by becoming a Level 2 Super Saiyan. So far, no other Saiyan has ever been able to do something like this.
During the Majin Buu Saga, the Old Kai helped Gohan find out what he was really capable of. Gohan could easily reach Super Saiyan Level 3 if he could use this power. Also, even if he hadn’t reached Super Saiyan Level 3, his Ultimate Gohan form gave him a lot of power. Gohan’s ultimate power was so strong that it could even threaten Super Buu, who is one of the most dangerous enemies in Dragon Ball Z.
Kid Buu
Kid Buu was the main bad guy in the Kid Buu Saga. He was also probably one of Goku and his friends’ most dangerous enemies. Kid Buu was very childlike, just like his name suggests. He was like a spoiled child, but even worse, he had no sense of guilt or regret.
Hirudegarn
Hirudegarn was once a statue of a demon God that cleansed the hearts of people on the planet Konats. However, Kashvar mages turned it evil, and it became the scary bad guy in Dragon Ball Z: Wrath of the Dragon. Hirudegarn is a scary monster whose only goal is to destroy everything it comes across. In some ways, it really is a mindless killer with no feelings, conscience, or remorse.
Janemba
In the movie Dragon Ball Z Fusion Reborn, Janemba was the main bad guy. Janemba looked like a fat, yellow monster from the outside, with strange holes on his shoulders and belly. But in reality, he was a true embodiment of evil. He was such a powerful evil being that he could beat Super Saiyan Level 3 Goku and Vegeta.
Golden Frieza
Frieza was first seen in the Dragon Ball Z anime series, where he was the main bad guy of the Frieza Saga. He was the ruler of the worlds until Goku beat him, and then Future Trunk cut him up into pieces. But in Dragon Ball Z: Resurrection F, this scary villain finally came back as a stronger and more evil version of himself.
Frieza was brought back to life by the power of the Dragon Balls after Future Trunk beat him. This was made possible by the work of his minions. He said that he would need more power because he knew that his mortal enemy, Son Goku, had done many things and gained even more power. And for the first time in his life, he really trained with the hope that he could beat Goku.
Vegeta
At first, Vegeta was shown as a bad Saiyan Prince who wanted to take over Earth. He was very arrogant and proud of his strength, but Goku beat him, and then Vegeta became Goku’s rival. Vegeta has been training hard to beat Goku.
He became a Super Saiyan and a Super Saiyan Level 2 to do this. But he couldn’t get to Super Saiyan Level 3 while Goku already had it.
Son Goku
Goku is the main character in the Dragon Ball Z series, and he is by far the strongest mortal hero (excluding fusion forms like Vegito or Gogeta). He is probably the first living Saiyan to reach multiple levels of Super Saiyan, especially Super Saiyan Blue in Dragon Ball Z: Battle of the Gods.
Son Goku is the kind of hero who doesn’t just want power, control, or money for himself. His main goal is to learn martial arts and, when the time comes, defend the earth.
He has fought against many strong enemies over the course of the series, and he has shown himself to be very clever. Goku can fight one-on-one with almost every Dragon Ball Z character because he has moves like Kamehameha, Spirit Bomb, and Kaioken, which has two edges. So, he could be said to be third on this list.
Beerus
Beerus is a humanoid Egyptian cat who often dresses in Egyptian clothes. Even though he looks small, you should not judge him by how he looks alone. He is actually the God of Destruction in Universe 7.
His job is to destroy every planet that could upset the balance of the universe.
Whis
We don’t know much about Whis’s life outside of the fact that he is Beerus’s martial arts teacher.
Whis’s full strength has never been shown, but based on what we know so far, he is probably the strongest character in Dragon Ball Z.
