Renewal Of Doctor Who Season 13

Doctor Who is a classic TV at this point since its running from the 1960s. The show has a tight-nit fandom, and its popularity keeps it alive. However, popularity does not mean that shows will not die. But Doctor Who fans can breathe a sigh of relief because the show is coming back for the thirteenth season.

Showrunner Chris Chibnall confirms that the show will come back for another season. When asked if he was leaving the show, he says that it is untrue and that they are already planning the series after this one. Therefore, we can safely say the TARDIS is sticking around for the near future at least.

Plot Predictions For Doctor Who Season 13

Before season 13, there is a festive special episode coming called the ‘Revolution of the Daleks’. The Doctor will face the Daleks in this special episode if she manages to escape from Judoon. Therefore, they can expect some hints about the new season in the upcoming extra episode.

In addition to this, we can expect the arc of The Timeless Child to carry on from a new perspective. Since that particular arc opens up a lot of new mysteries on the show, it is possible that season 13 will pick up some of those threads to continue the story around them.

Cast Of Doctor Who Season 13

Jodie Whittaker is coming back as the thirteenth Doctor in the thirteenth season. In an interview, Whittaker confirms that she is doing another season. She also acknowledges that her mantle of The Doctor will pass on, but for now, she is holding on to it!

However, we are not yet sure if The Doctor’s companion trio is coming back for the show. While Whittaker has confirmed her role, Ryan (Tosin Cole), Graham (Bradley Walsh) and Yaz (Mandeep Gill) have not yet confirmed if they will come back for season 13. However, we hope that the trio does return for more adventures on the show!

Release Date Of Doctor Who Season 13

Doctor Who is one of the most unpredictable shows when it comes to release dates. Since season 12 started on January 1, 2020, we can expect season 13 to come on air only in 2021. However, till then we have a whole season and an extra festive episode to enjoy till we wait for the new one.
