New Wanda Maximoff Scenes in Doctor Strange 2 Trailer

Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness will be released in just two weeks, which may be difficult for some to believe. Indeed, it appears to have been the subject of conversation for an indefinite period of time. During that time, the project has experienced its fair share of upheaval, the most notable of which being the resignation of original Doctor Strange director Scott Derrickson, who left the project in early 2020.

Marvel Studios was able to bring on board the legendary Sam Raimi, who is most known for his work on the first three Spider-Man films, to take over as his replacement. Many speculated that the project’s creative team would shift away from the major horror aspects that Derrickson had hoped to incorporate as a result of the change in leadership.

To their credit, it does not appear that this is the case. It’s important to remember that Sam Raimi’s filmmaking roots are also in the horror genre, making him just as knowledgeable about that genre as he is about superheroes.

Now, thanks to a new television commercial, viewers have their best look yet at how terrifying the trip may be becoming.

Scariest Promo is Coming Soon

It has been released a new commercial spot for Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness, which includes numerous new snatches of footage and maintains a strong horror theme throughout.

It is unfortunate that the video, which can be watched embedded at the bottom of this section, is not currently available in high resolution.

The first thing that fans will notice is the piano next to Doctor Strange, which is a new addition.

It appears to be taking place in one of the nightmares that the main character stated in his monologue in the main trailer, at least on the surface.

Doctor Strange Banned in Saudi Arabia

‘Eternals’ and ‘West Side Story’ have both been rejected in the past, and the decision to reject ‘Eternals’ is claimed to be due to the inclusion of an LGBTQ character for the third time.

Disney and the Marvel Cinematic Universe have once again run afoul of Gulf censors.

Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness, Marvel’s eagerly anticipated sequel to the critically acclaimed 2016 superhero picture starring Benedict Cumberbatch, has been banned in Saudi Arabia. Online rumours first surfaced early on Friday, with The Hollywood Reporter later reporting that the decision had been officially confirmed. THR has learned that the embargo extends to Kuwait as well, however this has not yet been acknowledged by the government.

The decision to make the sequel is said to be related to LGBTQ issues once again, according to Middle East sources, despite the fact that the film has not yet been released or reviewed. The new sequel introduces the character America Chavez (played by Xochitl Gomez), who is gay according to her portrayal in the comics. Because homosexuality is officially prohibited in the United Arab Emirates, films that contain any LGBTQ themes or problems are frequently rejected by censors.

Doctor Strange and the Multiverse of Madness was scheduled to be released in the United Arab Emirates on May 5, as part of the film’s global release. Advance tickets are no longer available on the websites of theatres in Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, and Qatar; however, they are still accessible in the United Arab Emirates, indicating that the film will be released in that country.

The film follows on the heels of Chloé Zhao’s Eternals, which was banned across much of the Gulf in November due to the inclusion of a same-gender pair in the film as well as the Marvel Cinematic Universe’s first gay superhero, Black Panther. At the time, THR was under the impression that censors had sought a series of modifications that Disney was unwilling to implement. However, an altered version of the film was shown in the United Arab Emirates.

In January, the film West Side Story was barred from being released in Saudi Arabia, the United Arab Emirates, Qatar, Bahrain, Oman, and Kuwait due to censorship. THR reported that regional sources said the decision was made because the character Anybodys, who is described as transgender in the new rendition and played by nonbinary actress Iris Menas, was considered a problem.
