Wendy Finerman, who was responsible for producing the first picture, is going to be in charge of developing and producing the sequel. It has been reported by Deadline that the original filmmaker, David Frankel, is currently in discussions for a potential return.
According to reports, McKenna and Finerman are romantically involved; however, there are no casting arrangements in place.
