Skrillex announces new album Quest for Fire, which will be available on February 17 through his Owsla label and Atlantic. He gave a preview of the songs on the album during a DJ set streamed from his basement. Skrillex has already released several songs this year, including collaborations with PinkPantheress, Trippie Redd, and Fred Again.. among others.
Skrillex Offers Sneak Peek of Upcoming Album With Live DJ Set
Skrillex gave his fans a treat with a live DJ set from his basement, where he previewed his upcoming album. The set started with his popular song “RUMBLE” with Fred Again.. and Flowdan, and continued with a total of 13 songs that showcased Skrillex’s ability to blend genres. The set concluded with a new track titled “STILL HERE,” featuring Porter Robinson and Bibi Bourelly.
The new album, Quest for Fire, is the first part of a two-part series and is set to release on February 17. It has been almost a decade since Skrillex released his last full-length album, Recess, but he has since returned to the music scene with frequent releases and performances across the UK. Skrillex is expected to have a big year in 2023.

Early Career and Breakthrough
Skrillex is a renowned American electronic music producer, DJ, and singer-songwriter. Born as Sonny John Moore in Los Angeles, California, on January 15, 1988, Skrillex has become one of the most influential figures in the electronic dance music scene. He started his music career as the lead vocalist of a post-hardcore band, From First to Last, but later switched to producing electronic music.
Skrillex’s breakthrough in the music industry came in 2010 when he released his debut EP, “My Name Is Skrillex,” on his own label, Big Beat Records. The EP was a critical success, and it showcased Skrillex’s unique sound, which combined elements of dubstep, electro, and house music.
