Defending Jacob is an approaching American crime drama web TV miniseries. It is based on on the novel with the same name by William Landay. Mark Bomback is the creator of the miniseries. Morten Tyldum is the director.
About The Show
The show is about Andy Barber, an associate and prosecutor in Newton, Massachusetts who is exploring the death of a 14-year-old child, Ben Rifkin. Ben happens to be Andy’s child, Jacob’s colleague. At first, Andy presumed an almost paedophile. But, later he finds out about the enmity between his child and the person who is in question. How Andy will protect his kid, whether Jacob executed Ben turns into the essence of the show.

Chris Evans will be seen playing the lead role in the series. In March 2019, Michelle Dockery and Jaeden Martell joined the cast of the series.
Apple announced on September 20, 2018, that the series will be coming out with eight episodes. The director of this series, Mark Bomback, is one of the writers, along with Chris Evans, Morten Tyldum, Rosalie Swedlin, and Adam Shulman.

The official trailer aired on 25th Marsch. In the trailer, we see how Jacob’s prints are occupying at the crime scene of the death of his classmate. He is taken by the police on charges of first-degree murder and is told that a kid of the same age as him will be inquired as an adult if he were to be taken to court.
Although, Jacob’s parents Andy and Laurie are trying their level best to keep their son away from such false accusation because they believe his claims of innocence. But, the story will eventually take a twist as it goes further.
The show is set to get on air on April 24 on Apple TV+. So, look forward because we know you are excited.
