Dead Boy Detectives Season 2 Plot Updates: What to Expect with it?

Sandman creator Neil Gaiman has recently opened up on Tumblr where he  explained that he’d had regrets over Despair’s weak-willed image. “Mostly, what I hope is that the next time you see Despair on the screen you won’t think of her as frumpy, depressed and unloved. She isn’t in the comics, and I think we missed what we were aiming for in Sandman season one,” he said.

So, if season 2 comes on board, we might expect some changes in the storyline. As the boys are back in London, we might expect something spicy for them. Also, there are major chances for Crystal and Jenny to possibly join the story for the next chapter.

“I think there’s not a limit that we found yet to how far we could go, but that’s a very brash answer,” Yockey said, adding, “I would say we’ve had some really, really good conversations about what a second season would look like. The cool thing about the show is because it has the overriding season arcs but also a case of the week, it has the kind of legs where it can just keep going.”

Schwartz added, “We ended the season specifically to set up a season 2 because all our characters are going back to London and the agency has expanded. Just all the fun and the new dynamics that we could explore in Season 2 would be really, really exciting for us.”
