British Government To Invest £93 Million
The British Government is investing £93 million to construct the coronavirus vaccine manufacturing plant. The Department for Business, Energy, and Industrial Strategy made this announcement.
Furthermore, the manufacturing plant will open in the summer of 2021, a year ahead of schedule. It will serve as the key component of the government’s plan. Moreover, the plant will have the capacity to roll out coronavirus vaccines in large quantities once the vaccine is available.
Furthermore, the plant will have enough capacity to produce doses that will serve the entire UK population within six months of duration. Moreover, the coronavirus vaccine is assumed to be available towards the beginning of the next year.
UK Government To Further Invest £38m
The UK Government is investing 38 million euros further in a rapid deployment facility. Furthermore, the facility will manufacture doses from this summer if the vaccine becomes available before the other manufacturing plant is constructed.
