Classroom Of The Elite Anime vs Manga

By

With an engaging premise, Classroom Of The Elite is a great anime series that comes with a brilliant set of characters and an appealing storyline. However, despite all this, some fans criticize it because of the way makers have adapted it using the manga/light novel series.

So, going ahead in this post, I’ll be comparing Classroom Of The Elite anime series with manga series. Let’s get started:

Classroom Of The Elite Plot

Set in the far-off future, Classroom Of The Elite begins with Japanese government forming the Tokyo Metropolitan Advanced Nurturing School.

The students at this school are created to help the future generation of the country. And in order to do so, these students are needed to mimic their real life closely and this can be done by the high degree of freedom given to them .

The story then takes you to a a quite boy who’s an introvert and isn’t good at making new friends. The story follows the perspective of Kiyotaka Ayanokōji, a quiet and unassuming boy who is not good at making friends and would rather keep his distance.

He is a student of D-class, which is where the school dumps its inferior students. After meeting Suzune Horikita and Kikyō Kushida, two other students in his class, Kiyotaka’s situation begins to change.

Classroom Of The Elite Anime VS. Manga/Light Novel Series

Most of the anime adaption are known for finishing light novel and manga content in a flash. Look at log horizon anime series, how it burned light novels and manga at a lightening fast pace.

And when you compare it with Classroom Of The Elite anime, you would thank its showrunners for utilizing its storyline at moderate pace. However, Light novel fans don’t like the fact that the anime series has covered its every important events.

Even though, Classroom Of The Elite anime comes with a lot of changes, the one change that stood out among the rest was the way it handled the characterization of Kiyotaka Ayanokouji.

Kiyotaka Ayanokouji of light novel series had comic touch in him whereas in the manga series, his character was a bit more expressive. And the anime series came with completely different characterization of the same character.

Kiyotaka Ayanokouji in the anime series was an aloof character whose skills were revealed at a steady pace. Unlike the other two versions, here he’s not potrayed like a common man with no special powers. However, the one thing that’s missing in the anime series is Kiyotaka Ayanokouji’s motivation.

Despite all these differences, the studio behind Classroom Of The Elite managed to end its first season under Volume 3. Even though, did used some scenes from volume 4. Despite of this minimal usage, Studio Deen has got enough source material to release its second season with a totsl of 13 episodes.

Will there be Classroom Of The Elite Season 2?

Imagine here I’m constantly taliking about the possible release date but what if the season 2 never happens? That would be quite unfortunate. So, before I jump ahead to any conclusion, let’s discuss the every possibility of getting Classroom Of The Elite Season 2.

The reason why I’m sure there’ll be a 2nd season of Classroom Of The Elite is the availability of enough content material. Classroom Of The Elite Season 1 started airing its episode on July 12, 2017, and with 12th episode, the season ended on September 27, 2017.

These 12 episodes utilized 3 volumes of the light novel series and still, we’re left with 13 volumes of light novels. So, with the remaining volumes, we can easily get a second season with 13 episodes.

Classroom Of The Elite Season 2 Possible Release?

Officially there’s no official announcement regarding Classroom Of The Elite Season 2. Nor it’s been renewed for a new season.

So, when can you expect its second seasson? Well, I don’t think 2021 will be the year we’ll see Classroom Of The Elite Season 2? Instead, there are high chances that it’ll release sometime in 2020. In the meanwhile, W would recommend you to watch these most awaited anime of 2021.
