According to the paperwork that were submitted on Wednesday, the HGTV personality said that Josh transferred the accounts that were receiving “over $35,000” in payments from her Tennessee rental properties to his own banks.

Christina Hall officially responded to her husband Josh Hall’s divorce request and made further charges.

On July 15, Josh, 43, filed for divorce owing to “irreconcilable differences” with the Christina on the Coast actress. Christina also filed an ex parte alleging that Josh made suspicious financial movements regarding her Tennessee homes in the days leading up to their breakup.

According to an Interview, Christina owns the farmhouse from Christina in the Country and a downtown Nashville condo. The HGTV personality claims a property manager manages her two rental houses while she’s not using them.

Christina claims Josh asked the manager to convert the rent account for those houses to his personal account the day after she told him she was divorcing, June 7.

On July 8, Josh texted my professional property manager “Hi” after I informed him I would file for divorce. Send June payments to a separate account when due. She thanks you “papers say. Christina Hall and Husband Josh ‘Had Issues in the Marriage for Quite Some Time’ Before Split.

According to a source, “Josh requested the property manager’s payment because he handled all of the bills for their rental properties.”

The source claims he co-owns the two properties, but PEOPLE found paperwork showing Christina and her trust bought both. Christina’s petition says both “are entirely my sole and separate property.”

The farmhouse was bought in February 2021, and the apartment in December 2021, two months after their wedding.

The source adds, “Josh has continued to manage their rental properties since separation as that was one of his responsibilities throughout their marriage.”

“Christina has always employed a professional property manager for her separate Tennessee properties,” Christina’s publicist Cassie Zebisch-Schienle said in a statement to PEOPLE. “Those management duties and the expenses related thereto are invoiced monthly and paid from the rental income prior to it being distributed to Christina. All mortgage and expenses in regard to the properties Christina owns have always been handled by her through accounts via autopay. They have never been paid from Josh’s personal Wells Fargo Checking Account that he had prior to the marriage.”

“Rental income from Christina’s properties should have never been misdirected into Josh’s personal checking account. Those funds should be returned and accounted for by Josh as the July payments were made from other funds and if his position were true, those funds are required to pay the August payment.”

Josh’s divorce suit from last week requests spousal assistance from Christina, but the HGTV star wants to prevent it for both of them.

Christina has not officially acknowledged the separation, but her social media modifications last week recognize it. She posted an Instagram photo of her and Josh’s Hawaii wedding. That photo and others from their early connection have been removed.

Christina and Josh were cast in The Flip Off, a new HGTV show, with Tarek and his new wife, Selling Sunset alum Heather El Moussa.

On May 15, two months before the divorce announcement, the network announced the 2025 house flipping competition show.

Multiple sources told PEOPLE on Tuesday that Christina had resumed filming with Tarek and Heather and that Josh had left.

Josh’s involvement has not been confirmed by HGTV.

Christina and Josh dated in July 2021 after a source stated she was dating a real estate agent.
