Charlie Watts was a Rolling Stone drummer and he has died in hospital in August 202. He was 80 years old at the time of his death.

Charlie Watts, a Rolling Stone drummer was died on 24th of August 2021. Because of some health issues, Charlie had pulled out of the band’s US Tour prior to three weeks. A statement given by Watt’s family, a spokesperson said that –

“It is with immense sadness that we announce the death of our beloved Charlie Watts. He passed away peacefully in a London hospital earlier today surrounded by his family.”

The cause of death of Charlie Watts was never announced publically. He had pulled out of Rolling Stone 2021 summer tour of the United States due to health issues, prior to three weeks. Some online reports cited that he had heart procedure.

He was diagnosed with Throat cancer in 2004 and undergone a radiotherapy, so the cancer went into remission.

In January 1963, Charlie Watts has joined Rolling Stones band. He helped the band to become one of the biggest rock band of the 19960s by joining Mick Jagger, Keith Richards and Brian Jones.
