Celebrities have been busily breaking up as 2024 halfway ends. The dramatic twelve months of 2023 suggest a rollercoaster for the rest of the year.
Last year, 45 famous couples split, including Taylor Swift and Joe Alwyn, Joe Jonas and Sophie Turner, and Ariana Madix and Tom Sandoval. The latter’s breakup spurred my most random acquaintances (hello, Grandma) to text me wanting a Vanderpump Rules chronology. This list is tiny currently, but it will grow and get messier with time.
Please note that July 2023 had the most breakups. Eight couples split, including Adam Smith and Billy Porter, Dominic Fike and Hunter Schafer, Ariana Grande and Dalton Gomez, Sofía Vergara and Joe Manganiello, Bella Hadid and Marc Kalman, Rosalía and Rauw Alejandro, Tina Knowles and Richard Lawson, and Bebe Rexha and Keyan Safyari. Something about summer?
Expect updates to this list. A lot. Especially when it warms. Let’s begin!
