He went so far as to urge the judge to punish Britney and make her pay for his legal expenses.
Jamie Spears has gone off the rails in an attempt to keep things the same way they were before Britney Spears’ father was released from his influence over the pop icon’s income and decisions. Jamie Spears has sought to drain Britney of anything he can get his hands on.
Jaime requested a judge to make Britney keep on paying legal expenses
When he was in front of the judge, he asked the judge, and it bluntly backfired; this behaviour was judged to be “shameful” by Britney’s counsel, according to Britney’s statement. In addition to this, he stated that Jamie must emerge from his hiding place and face the world.
As if in flight or cover, he retreats.
J. Spears has been concealing and fleeing from his deposition and the repercussions of his wrongdoing, despite the fact that he has made assertions that are patently false, such as that he has “nothing to hide” and that he would “hide nothing.”
Stonewalling
“In point of fact, while he represented that he would “unconditionally cooperate” and act with “complete transparency without conditions,” Mr. Spears has engaged in stonewalling and obstruction — for over six months — dodging his deposition and repeatedly failing to respond to simple requests for fundamental information,” he mentioned.
In addition to this, he was investigating the possibility of having Jamie deposed in ‘any city in any country.’
James Spears Responds with a Counter-Strike
James’ lawyer, Alex Weingarten, keeps looking for things to say about Britney, like when he said that the “Hit Me Baby One More Time” singer “continues to make public social media posts containing inflammatory allegations about various facts” and should be forced to sit for a deposition herself.
Her legal team is on her side.
He Said, “Mr. Spears, who was ignominiously suspended by the Court in September, continues to disgrace himself, especially through this most-recent foolish and ill-advised filing, which is riddled with errors and falsehoods, as he himself knows,”.
To his own daughter, he had been a tormentor.
“In addition to trying to bully his own daughter, he is now pathetically reduced to trying to intimidate her, while abusing the legal process and running and hiding from his own deposition. Anyone else would be ashamed by these tactics, but he and his representatives are truly shameless. In terms of ‘impugning his character,’ Mr. Spears did that to himself long ago.”
A court document acquired by Page Six on Friday states that Britney Spears’ father, Jamie Spears, has accused her of launching a social media campaign against him and wants her to testify in a deposition.
Ex-conservator Alex Weingarten said in the June 16 lawsuit that the 40-year-old pop star “continues to make public social media postings containing inflammatory charges of numerous factual issues” and should therefore be required to sit down for a deposition herself.
A deposition of Britney Spears is also on Weingarten’s wish list in light of comments made by her lawyer Matthew Rosengart in public court documents and by the pop star herself in testimony on June 23 and July 14 of this year.
Page Six said that Rosengart said Jamie, 69, had “impugned” his reputation in the past, but Rosengart denied this.
This latest dumb and ill-advised submission, which is replete with inaccuracies and lies, as he himself knows, continues to embarrass Mr. Spears, who was ignominiously suspended by the Court in September, said the former federal prosecutor.
To make matters worse, he is now trying to intimidate his own daughter while misusing the judicial system and evading his own deposition. These techniques would embarrass anybody else, but he and his henchmen are absolutely shameless. Mr. Spears has done this to himself a long time ago when it comes to “impugning his character.”
Because of this, both parties argue that the other party is evading their respective demands for depositions.
Jamie Rosengart was allegedly “running and hiding from his deposition and accounting for his misdeeds — under oath — as required by law,” according to court records acquired by Page Six in May.
A copy of an email Weingarten wrote to Rosengart’s firm on January 26, 2022 shows that attorney told the company that Jamie would agree to be deposed if they could agree on a date for Britney to be deposed the same week, which Rosengart’s firm has now provided in his newest filing.
It would be ideal if the depositions could take place on consecutive days or at least within the same week in early March, he said.
“We aim to continue to safeguard our client from additional trauma and abuse,” Rosengart said in a March 2, 2022, response to Weingarten’s request to depose Britney.
James Spears’ deposition is reasonable and required, but Britney Spears’ deposition has no valid, good-faith foundation, a veteran federal prosecutor stated.
Taking our client’s deposition is, in our opinion and under the law, nothing more than another strategy to coerce, harass, and threaten our client’s daughter—his own daughter,” we wrote.
Because Britney’s lawyer has “refused to offer dates for Britney’s deposition and consistently maintained that Britney will not sit for a deposition absent a court order (and probably not even then),” Jamie’s lawyer said on Thursday that they are seeking the Court to intervene.
Following a 13-year period in which he allegedly abused Britney’s trust and spying on her, Jamie was banned from her conservatorship on September 29, 2021.
A judge in Los Angeles County Superior Court determined on Nov. 12, 2021, that the “Toxic” singer’s conservatorship should be terminated.
As a result of her newfound freedom, she has taken to social media to express her concerns with her family members, including Jamie.
According to Britney, when her father took on the role of conservator, he reportedly “body shamed” her and “stripped” her of her womanhood.
Britney Spears closed her Instagram account earlier this week, just days after she wed Sam Asghari and shared beautiful memories from her wedding day with her admirers.
