Blue Exorcist Season 3: Coming or Not?

David Mudd

Upon its debut, The Blue Exorcist was a huge hit with the audience. They are the protagonists of the action anime series based on Kazue Kato’s manga series, which follows Rin Okumura and his twin sister Yukio as they grow up under the care of their adopted exorcist father.

The first season of anime began in 2011, marking the beginning of the medium’s existence. The first season of “Kyoto Saga” resulted in a film and a second season, which formed the basis for the “Kyoto Saga.” As a cult classic, Blue Exorcist fans have speculated whether Rin will have any more demon-slaying escapades in a possible third season if the show is renewed. About Blue Exorcist Season

Blue Exorcist Season 3

This manga, also known as the Ao no Ekusoshisuto, was written and illustrated by Kazue Kat and is based on the novel of the same name. Since April 2009, Shueisha has been serialising the manga in the Jump SQ magazine, with individual chapters being collected into 26 tankbon volumes by December 4, 2020, according to the company’s website.

Kazue Kato wrote and illustrated a one-shot titled The Miyama-Uguisu Mansion Incident, which initially appeared in the September 2008 edition of Jump SQ and served as the inspiration for the Blue Exorcist manga. The Blue Exorcist manga is based on the Blue Exorcist manga.

After being turned into an anime television series by A-1 Pictures, which ran from April to October 2011, and was produced by A-1 Pictures, the series was aired on Cartoon Network. David Lynch directed the picture, which was produced by the same studio and released in December 2012. The film was titled BLUE EXORCIST THE MOVIE and was directed by the same studio. The anime’s second season, which covers the manga’s Kyoto Impure King arc, premiered in January 2017 and is currently streaming on Netflix.

Will Blue Exorcist Season 3 Happen?

Blue Exorcist Season 3

It is necessary to be patient, but it is also a feature that Blue Exorcist fans have in common as well.

Between the first and second seasons of Blue Exorcist, there was a substantial amount of time that elapsed between the episodes.

Following the conclusion of the first season in 2011, fans of the “Kyoto Saga” had to wait five years for the launch of the second season. The season debuted in 2017 after a long hiatus.

As a result of the significant time lapse between the previous two seasons, there is some chance that a third season may be produced.

According to the show’s creators, the release of the next Blue Exorcist anime chapter, which is expected in 2022 or perhaps 2023, is not out of the ordinary for the series.

One further variable that could have an impact on whether or not a third season of the anime is created is the popularity of the manga series.

It is estimated that by 2016, more than 15 million copies of the manga had been sold globally, according to Crunchyroll.

In addition, as this Anime News Network piece points out, the Blue Exorcist anime series had a big impact on manga and paperback sales when it initially aired on television in the United States in 1993.

The release of a new season of the manga, which is now in development, might result in a sales boost on par with the previous season.

Little About Manga

While we’re talking about manga, the anime show now has more than enough plots to choose from for the future season, which is fantastic news for fans of the medium.

A great many plot elements from the first manga volumes have already been incorporated into the television show’s overall storyline.

Consequently, season 3 will almost certainly begin with manga volumes 10 and 11, rather than with manga volume 9, as it did with season 2.

It is with this chapter that the “Kyoto Saga” continues, depicting Rin’s fight with Lucifer, the King of Light, and his Illuminati organisation, which begins in the previous chapter.

However, no information about the third season has been made public as of this writing. As a result, we may make educated guesses about how the most recent season will begin by looking at how the previous one finished.

Furthermore, there is no requirement to reach a deadline. So we should expect to hear something about the third component sometime later this year, at the very earliest possible.

The premiere of Season 3 is expected to take place some time in January 2023, according to current estimates. Ao no Exorcist Season 3 is slated to broadcast in April 2022 at the earliest if the show’s production timetable is similar to that of the previous two seasons.

Blue Exorcist Season 3 Trailer

Because the third season of Blue Exorcist has not yet been officially announced, there is no official trailer for the season. There is still a long way to go until Season 3 is released online, so don’t hold your breath for a trailer anytime soon. We’ll update this post as soon as official information becomes available.

Blue Exorcist Season 3 Plot

The universe of Ao no Exorcist is divided into two dimensions that are connected together as though by a mirror, creating an illusion of three dimensions. Assiah is the first person to be born on the planet where humans reside, which is the second.

The other is Gehenna, which is also known as the Demons’ World. It is typically impossible to travel between the two locations, let alone to maintain any type of connection between them, under normal circumstances. Taking ownership of anything that exists in this realm, on the other hand, allows the demons to cross over into it and live there.

However, despite the fact that Satan is the god of devils, he is lacking in one important aspect: a container in the human realm that is strong enough to hold him!

It was for this reason that he made Rin Okumura, his son from a human woman. But would his son comply to his plans, or will he evolve into something else…? Father Fujimoto sought to return Rin to the Demon realm by killing him; as a result, Rin set out on a trip to discover how to become powerful enough to combat Satan while also dealing with the ramifications of being born into Satan’s family.

The fact that the program’s standards have changed, as well as the addition of new concepts by the show’s developers, means that we cannot rely entirely on guesswork or forecasts.
