Black Widow: The Final Trailer Shows Taskmaster And Plot Expectations
As we already know, Natasha will be going back to Russia, to her family in the movie. However, we do not know who or for what purpose she is going back. The new trailer opens with Natasha and her sister Yelena getting drunk and sharing stories. The conversation soon veers into the direction of the Taskmaster.
The Taskmaster as a character is still not defined by the trailer, which is understandable since the producers do not want to give away more than what is needed. However, we do know from the trailer that the Taskmaster is the one who controls the Red Room.
The Red Room is where all the Black Widows receive training to become spies and assassins. We see that Natasha was also trained in the Red Room in one of the Flashbacks in Avengers: Age Of Ultron.
Black Widow: What Is Natasha’s Mission?
The trailer then proceeds to Natasha, saying that she has made a lot of mistakes before becoming an Avenger. We also know that Natasha wants to go “back to where it all started” and now we know for what. In the new trailer, Natasha finishes the statement by saying, “So they never do it to anyone again.”
“At some point we all have to choose between what the world wants you to be and who you are.” Watch the new trailer for Marvel Studios’ #BlackWidow. See it in theaters May 1! pic.twitter.com/Yt7h9FHoXp

Therefore, it seems that Natasha comes back to Russia to defeat the Taskmaster and shut down the whole Red Room training program because she does not want other girls to go through what she did. So, it seems that Natasha, along with her family, will try and take down Taskmaster’s spy operations in the movie.
