A few days prior, Queen Bey posted the most recent KNTY 4 News update on Instagram. Beyoncé’s Renaissance: A Film will debut on December 21 in 15 more countries, including Brazil. “You didn’t have to destroy my website,” the voiceover continued. “But the Renaissance is far from over, as I told you all.”

Parkwood Entertainment and TV Globo collaborated to co-sponsor an event in Salvador, Bahia, Brazil, in honor of the movie’s global premiere. A fan-shot video purports to depict a clone of the Renaissance World Tour stage along with special Club Renaissance goods.

With a sly cartoon of the Renaissance dance horse, affectionately known as Reneigh by her followers, peeping out of a private plane, Beyoncé hinted at her impending presence in Brazil. As expected, the music legend shocked fans by making her first appearance in public in Brazil for a decade. During her Mrs. Carter Show World Tour in 2013, she made her most recent trip to the nation.

Upon arriving at the event, a visibly moved Beyoncé spoke to the crowd, stating in a video that was taken by fans, “I was unable to attend the Renaissance tour, but I’m delighted to present the Renaissance film to all of you. The Renaissance is you!

“I came because of how much I adore you. “It was crucial to be in this exact spot,” the “Cuff It” singer went on. “I appreciate all of your help throughout the years. Nobody is like you guys. You are the only one, the one and only, No. 1!

Beyoncé posted some pictures to her Instagram page just after her short appearance, in which she donned a gorgeous silver hooded gown. In the photos, she can be seen laughing heartily on her private jet, waving the Brazilian flag, and observing the rapt audience.

The singer of “Break My Soul” initially hosted two premieres for her movie: a public premiere on November 30 in Leicester Square in London and a private premiere on November 25 at the Samuel Goldwyn Theater in Los Angeles. Beyoncé wore her brand-new platinum blonde hair at both ceremonies.

Dec. 1 marked the film’s U.S. premiere. It opened to great reviews from both critics and fans, dominating the American box office in its first weekend of release. Beyoncé was shown in the behind-the-scenes photos from her Renaissance World Tour and the Grammy-winning album that accompanied it at her most open and emotional point in years.

During her historic tour, which stopped in the United States, Europe, and Canada, Beyoncé sold over 2.7 million tickets and made $579 million in revenue. The tour is the best grossing tour in Billboard Boxscore history by a woman, Black artist, and American soloist. It was conducted in promotion of her Billboard 200-topping album Renaissance.
