Bert Kreischer is a stand-up comedian, actor, reality television host, writer, producer, and podcaster from the United States of America. Bert Kreischer is a successful businessman with a $3 million net worth. In addition to performing stand-up comedy shirtless, Kreischer has been in the comedy specials “Comfortably Dumb” (2009), “The Machine” (2016), “Secret Time” (2018), and “Hey Big Boy” (2017), as well as the television series “Comfortably Dumb” (2020).

Early Life
Bert Kreischer was born on November 3, 1972, in Tampa, Florida. He is the son of Albert Kreischer Sr. His father, Al, was a real estate lawyer, and his mother, Gege, worked with young children. Bert went to Jesuit High School, and after he graduated, he went to Florida State University, where he was a member of the Alpha Tau Omega fraternity and a major in English. “The Princeton Review” ranked FSU #1 on its list of the best “party schools” in the United States for 1997.
This was his sixth year at the school. Eventually, “Rolling Stone” magazine called Kreischer one of the country’s best partyers at the “Number One Party School.” The magazine ran a six-page piece about him called “Bert Kreischer, the Undergraduate.” It caught the attention of Oliver Stone, a director who wanted to make a movie about Bert’s story. Several screenwriters sent Stone their scripts. Afterward, one of the writers who worked on it changed Kreischer’s name to “Van Wilder” in the script and sold it to National Lampoon, so they could make money. Ryan Reynolds played Van Wilder in “National Lampoon’s Van Wilder” when it came out in 2002. In 2014, Bert said that the movie was good “Neither have I. I didn’t do anything to it.”
Career
Bert did his first stand-up show at the Potbelly’s bar and nightclub in Tallahassee. Agent Jason Steinberg saw the video and asked him to come to New York City so he could see some stand-up. Kreischer then got a job at the door at the Boston Comedy Club in Greenwich Village. A few months after moving to New York, he was offered a sitcom deal by Will Smith’s production company, which made the show.
Prepare to Meet Your God and Life with David J. were both short films made in 2001 by Bert. “National Lampoon Live: New Faces – Volume 2” and “The Shield” are two of the DVDs he was on in 2004. His second show, “The Machine,” aired on Showtime in 2016. “The Loud House” was a Nickelodeon show that he did voice work for in 2017. His Netflix specials, “Secret Time” and “Hey Big Boy,” came out in 2018 and 2020, respectively.
His Netflix show, “The Cabin with Bert Kreischer,” is about him going to a cabin for some self-care and having his funny friends join him on his journey to clean his mind, body and soul. He invites them to join him.
In April 2021, it was announced that Kreischer and Mark Hamill would be in the movie “The Machine,” which is described as a “genre-bending comedy” based on Bert’s real-life adventures and stand-up routine “The Machine.” Kreischer and Hamill will star in the movie.
