After a brief hint at the 2017 Game Awards, Bayonetta 3’s future was utterly unknown. PlatinumGames eventually offered gamers a preview of genuine gameplay from the wicked witch’s next action masterpiece at a Nintendo Direct in 2021, making many question if the game would ever be released.

Bayonetta 3 Expected Release Date
Bayonetta 3 is presently scheduled to be released in the year 2022, according to an announcement made by Nintendo accompanying the gameplay reveal trailer for 2021.
Given that the sequel to Breath of the Wild is likely to be the major holiday 2022 release, and given that Platinum’s previous Switch release Astral Chain did well with a late summer release, we’d hazard a guess that Bayonetta 3 will release around the fall of 2022, possibly in October to tie in with Halloween.
Bayonetta 3 will be developed by Platinum Games and published by Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment. But before we can say anything for sure, we will need to wait till we receive more information.

A gameplay preview for Bayonetta 3 was shown off by Nintendo the year before last. In the teaser, we get a look at Bayonetta’s redesigned appearance, which includes a new hairdo that is evocative of Cereza when she was younger, as well as new powers and transformations.
We witness Bayonetta unleashing the demon Azagogo, shutting many spiked coffins on her foes, and using her new power, Demon Masquerade, to take possession of a massive tarantula demon. Is There Going to Be a Bayonetta 3 on the Switch?
PlatinumGames and Nintendo have collaborated on the creation of Bayonetta, with Nintendo providing the majority of the cash for the game’s production. That being the case, it is very probable that, similar to Bayonetta 2, Bayonetta 3 will only be available on systems developed by Nintendo. As of right now, it is only listed on the Nintendo Switch, and we anticipate that this will be the case going forward.
Is Bayonetta 3 Coming to Ps4/ps5 or Xbox?
Almost definitely no, as stated in the previous response. This game was developed with Nintendo’s financial support, and the company is well-known for its rigorous IP policies. PlatinumGames had to negotiate with Nintendo to get The Wonderful 101 to be released on other platforms, which was a very rare circumstance.
We don’t think Nintendo will ever enable Bayonetta titles to be played on other platforms.
