But unlike the Grammys and Latin Grammys, fans vote for the Premio Lo Nuestro, and it looks like Benito’s fans came through. Sebastián Yatra won four awards, including Pop-Male Artist of the Year, Pop-Song of the Year, Pop/Ballad-Song of the Year, and Pop-Album of the Year. He was nominated for 10 awards that night.

After all of those snubs at award shows, many of the Puerto Rican artist’s fans realized that it doesn’t make sense to look to award shows for recognition and vindication.
