More details about how Taylor Swift’s family celebrated Christmas at his Christmas Day game are being disclosed by Travis Kelce.
The 34-year-old Kansas City Chiefs player, Austin Swift, gave him a thoughtful gift on Friday’s bonus episode of New Heights with Jason and Travis Kelce. Austin gave it to him while Austin was wearing a Santa suit, which he also wore to the Chiefs game on Monday.
Kylie Kelce stated she was “tempted to pick on” Travis Kelce when asked who she would chose to win the title of “who took their game to new holiday heights” this week. However, she later revealed her choice was none other than Taylor’s brother and his Christmas attire.
About Austin’s Santa costume, Kylie, Jason’s wife, stated, “That was a full commit, and I respect that.”
It was a full commit, Travis agreed to say. And he killed it,” he said, then showed off the present Austin had given him.
The tight end acknowledged, “His gift to me was straight out of the bag, which actually made me feel like a child.”
“It was in the Santa sack, whew, [he] whipped it out and handed me a VHS of my favorite football movie of all time,” Kylie’s brother-in-law said, enthralling her with the tale of Travis receiving the present straight from “the Santa sack.”
Travis received a VHS copy of Little Giants, a 1994 movie about the opposing childhood football teams of two brothers, as a gift from Austin, 31.
Travis praised the gift, saying, “Santa kills it.”
Austin and Taylor were in Travis’ suite at Arrowhead Stadium on Monday, accompanied by their parents, Andrea and Scott Swift, and Austin’s girlfriend, Sydney Ness. While his partner wore a vintage-style Chiefs sweatshirt, seemingly from the pile provided to Taylor by local boutique Westside Storey, along with a Christmas-themed Chiefs hat, Austin, dressed as Santa Claus, also sported a Chiefs Christmas hat and scarf.
Earlier this month, Scott, Taylor’s father, donned the sweater to a Chiefs game.
Taylor, 34, looked festive in a Christmas hat that had her boyfriend’s number, “87,” sewn on the front. She also wore a “T” charm earring, which appeared to be another jab at the tight end.
Ed Kelce, Travis’ father, was also there at the game on Christmas Day and supported his son from the same suite as the Swifts.
Taylor’s mother, Andrea, was wearing a Chiefs Christmas hat, and Ed, who was wearing a Kelce shirt, was seen conversing with her parents in a photo taken by another Chiefs fan, the singer of the song “Anti-Hero.”
In the meantime, Travis’ mother, Donna Kelce, already disclosed to PEOPLE that she will be in Philadelphia “spending time with my grandkids as we cheer on their dad,” her older son Jason, an Eagles player.
After Jason’s team defeated the New York Giants on Monday, Donna, 71, was joined by Kylie. Kylie had earlier told PEOPLE that she and Jason were going to celebrate Christmas with their three girls on the 26th rather than on the actual day.
She stated of her three-year-old Wyatt, two-year-old Elliotte, and ten-month-old Bennett, “Lucky for us, our girls cannot read a calendar yet, so we are going to take full advantage of that and pretend that Christmas is the 26th.” “And I mean top-to-bottom, presents and all, 26th of December.”
