Two children are shared by the couple, who tied the wedding in the year 2022.
Billie Lourd is a big supporter of husband Austen Rydell.
The couple wore outfits that were synchronized with each other as they walked the red carpet at the premiere of the upcoming documentary Watershed, which took place in Los Angeles on July 10.
In a navy dress with a white floral pattern, Lourd, who is 31 years old, wore it. The finishing touches to her summery appearance were a pair of white peep-toes and a white Chanel flap purse. Exactly like his wife, Rydell, who is 32 years old, wore a blue suit, a spotless white t-shirt, and sneakers.
It is not the first time that the two have worn outfits that are synchronized. During the month of March, Lourd and Rydell attended the Vanity Fair Oscar celebration wearing exclusively black attire. She donned a lace little dress, while he wore a traditional tuxedo. Additionally, in December of last year, at the Women in Entertainment event hosted by The Hollywood Reporter, his brown suit was a perfect compliment to her off-white outfit. Each of them wore black shoes.
A new documentary that Rydell executive produced follows Mallory Weggemann, an American Paralympic medalist who was paralyzed at the age of 18, as she prepares for the Tokyo Paralympics. Additionally, the video follows Weggemann and her husband Jay Snyder as they go through the process of in vitro fertilization (IVF) in the midst of their battles with infertility.
In June of 2020, Lourd and Rydell made the announcement that they were going to get married, and three months later, they became parents to their first of two children. The couple had their second kid in December of 2022 after they had married the knot in a ceremony that took place in Mexico in March of 2022.
Lourd, whose mother Carrie Fisher, who played the legendary Princess Leia in the Star Wars saga and passed away in 2016, stated in a recent interview with PEOPLE that the films continue to be a huge hit in her family’s household.
When asked about the experience of showing her son, who is three years old, the movies, she stated, “It’s so amazing getting to rewatch all the movies through his eyes.” In the same way that my mother taught me, and in the same way that I teach my children, it is something that can be passed on from one generation to the next.
The acceptance of Fisher’s star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame was recently witnessed by Rydell, who was present alongside Lourd.
“My mom died six and a half years ago, and ever since, I’ve fallen deeply in love with Leia and the entire Star Wars universe,” the star said in a tribute at the event in May. “I buy every single piece of Leia merch I Leia my eyes on.”
