During one of the talks regarding the future of the series, the creator of the show revealed the possibility by saying, “We have started having conversations with the buzz that has been coming from the new one, Netflix has said they’d possibly like to do a number two. We will see what the repercussions of number one are, I think the feedback will be great.”
She added: “I do think it’s going to do well but I think [we will see what] the repercussions of number one and then see.”
While talking about season 2 of the show, It was further reported that the creators of the series are planning the next season of the show.
“They’re so confident it will be a hit with audiences that they want more and filming is due to start this autumn,” a reported insider told the publication, adding it would be “great news for fans of Tyson, as well as those being introduced to the career and home life of the boxer for the first time.
“Netflix is sure the show will have everyone hooked and were quick to snap the leading man up before his diary became too full,” the source added. Fingers crossed, then!
“I wanted out,” he said (via The Sun) of the filming process. “It was a couple of weeks in, and I was on the phone to my lawyers: ‘Is there any way I can get out of this? I don’t know what I’ve signed up for again. I’ve made a mistake.'”
Paris added: “We got halfway through filming and he wanted to cancel the whole show.”
