Anne Hathaway sits in the front row at almost every major fashion week these days. The actress has become a fashion mainstay. In 2001, when Hathaway first came to attention for her role in The Princess Diaries, she walked red carpets in dresses layered over jeans and short-sleeved button-down shirts with ties.
