Angelina Jolie is ‘Proud’ of her 19-year-old daughter Zahara and ‘Her AKA Sisters’ at Spelman College

In November 2023, Zahara became a member of the sorority at Spelman institution, a historically Black women’s college.

Angelina Jolie is a proud mother!

Days after Jolie’s daughter Zahara Jolie-Pitt was captured on camera dancing with her Alpha Kappa Alpha (AKA) sorority sisters at Spelman College’s Welcome Back Jam, an insider tells that “Angelina is proud of her, her AKA sisters, and all of the extraordinary young women at Spelman.”

Zahara and seven of her sorority sisters may be seen dancing in a new video that was taken during the Spelman Class of 2028’s AKA Leadership Night. November 2023 marked the 19-year-old’s sorority membership.

In front of a sizable gathering, she announced herself as a new member of the Alpha Kappa Alpha Mu Pi chapter in an Essence video, saying, “My name is Zahara Marley Jolie.” And [I] arrived at the city of angels, Los Angeles, California, after traveling all the way from the Golden State.

In July 2022,  Angelina Jolie, 49, who is divorced from Brad Pitt, initially revealed that her daughter will be attending Spelman.

“Zahara with her Spelman sisters! Congratulations to all new students starting this year. A very special place and an honor to have a family member as a new Spelman girl,” she wrote alongside an Instagram photo of Zahara with her friends.
