Director Brett Haley’s film version of All the Bright Places, based on Jennifer Niven’s 2015 bestselling young adult novel of the same name, will premiere on Netflix later this year, and the official trailer has been unveiled. The romantic drama film starring Elle Fanning and Justice Smith will be released on streaming services on February 28.
New key art and photographs are included in the clip below the video. The lives of Violet Markey and Theodore Finch are irrevocably altered by their chance of meeting in All the Bright Places. As they heal from the mental and physical wounds of their past, they find common ground and learn the significance of seemingly little events and locations. This captivating drama gives an honest and new perspective on the effects of mental illness on interpersonal connections and the power of first love.
Justice Smith (Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom) plays Finch, while Elle Fanning (I Think We’re Alone Now) plays Violet. Kelli O’Hara (13 Reasons Why), Lamar Johnson (The Hate U Give), Felix Mallard, Sofia Hasmik, Luke Wilson (The Goldfinch), and Virginia Gardner (Marvel’s Runaways) are all-stars in the film.
Brett Haley (Hearts Beat Loud) helms All the Bright Places with a script by Niven and Liz Hannah (The Post). Echo Lake Entertainment and Mazur/Kaplan Company are producing it.
Echo Lake’s Andrew Spaulding, Doug Mankoff, and Brittany Kahan, along with Paula Mazur and Mitchell Kaplan of Mazur Kaplan, will produce. With Hannah Salerno, Robert Salerno, and Kimi Armstrong Stein serving as executive producers, Fanning will also take on the role of producer.
