A Quiet Place is a horror movie released in 2018. The movie has been directed, written by Krasinski. The movie marks an important landmark in Krasinski’s career both as an actor and as a director.

What Is Movie About?

Set in 2020, the movie is about the extraterrestrial creatures that have descended on Earth and have swept it clean of all humans and animals alike. These creatures, who are practically indestructible, cannot see but have a supersensitive hearing ability, which they use to hunt.

The Abbotts, a family of five- Lee, his pregnant wife Evelyn, and their children Marcus, Beau and Regan, who has a hearing disability- have somehow managed to survive the creatures. They talk to each other in sign language to avoid getting caught.

But the family has run out of supplies and must go out to fetch them to sustain themselves, without being heard.

 

A Quiet Place

The movie is a scary roller-coaster where you never know what’s around the corner. By the end of the movie, Evelyn has given birth to a baby boy, Lee and Beau are killed by the creatures. They also discover that Regan’s upgraded cochlear implant distresses the creatures and makes them vulnerable. With the knowledge of the enemies’ weakness, the Abbotts prepare themselves for war.

Cast Of The Movie

Krasinski plays Lee in the movie, Emily Blunt plays his wife, Evelyn. Millicent Simmonds plays Regan, Cade Woodward plays Beau, and Noah Jupe plays Marcus.

A Quiet Place II

A Quiet Place II is the sequel to Krasinski’s 2018 horror movie. The upcoming movie is the continuation of the plotline in the last movie. All the central cast of the first movie are returning for the rerun, alongside two new faces: Cillian Muphy and Djimon Hounsou.

The movie was set to premiere on March 8th, and release globally later this month.

Krasinski Announces The Indefinite Postponement Of The Movie

On March 12th, Krasinki posted a tweet which stated that the movie has been postponed indefinitely.

Why?

The cause of this sudden postponement was the largescale outbreak of Coronavirus. People all around the globe are strongly suggested against going to crowded places unnecessarily.

Such caution could affect the income the movie is about to make, which is why it’s better to wait for the pandemic to pass.
