Lockdown In Canada: COVID-19 is a disease originated from a market in Wuhan, China. It initially spread from animals to human beings. It is a highly contagious disease, and hence it has managed to affect so many people all around the globe. The virus is transmitted through contact with an affected person and by the cough or sneeze droplets.
Prime Minister Justin Trudeau Urges Citizens In Canada To Stay At Home
Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau urged citizens in Canada to stay at home. His wife Sophie Grégoire Trudeau had tested positive a few weeks back, and since then he’s been in quarantine himself.
He requests all the citizens to practice social distancing, and that’s the only way you can thank the doctors for the fantastic work they are doing out there.
Trudeau said, “our doctors and nurses need your help, your neighbours need your help, vulnerable people in your community need your help. As much as possible, stay home. Don’t go out unless you have to.”

Trudeau also addressed everyone regarding the importance of washing hands frequently. “It means keeping two metres between yourself and someone else. It means avoiding groups”.
He also stressed on the importance of social distancing. This is what he had to say.
“It means staying at home as much as possible. If you choose to ignore that advice you’re not just putting yourself at risk, you’re putting others at risk,” Trudeau said. “Enough is enough. Go home and stay home. This is what we all need to be doing, and we’re going to make sure this happens”.
Canada: No More Visitors To the Country (Lockdown In Canada)
Trudeau also announced there wouldn’t be many people coming into the country until everything comes back to normal. All visitors will be suspended. The prime minister also acknowledged people for the measures they are taking, but he can not assure them as to how long they’ll have to follow this.
Most facilities have also closed down except essential services like grocery stores or medical or stores or public transportation and primary offices. Other than that nothing will be opened in the city.
The highly contagious disease is in no one’s hands and hence even he can’t decide when everything’s going to cool down. When the day is back, where people can walk around in the streets freely is not something he can predict. Hence until further notice, all of these measures will be continued.
