The Good Fight is the spin-off of The Good Wife is officially returning for the fourth season. It has been renewed for a fourth season at CBS All Access.
With the news of the renewal of the show, Julie McNamara, executive vice president of original content at CBS All Access stated that “The series “continues to be an original flagship series for the service.” She also added that “Its visionary creators Robert and Michelle King and the extraordinary cast continue to explore the cultural climate with insight, humour and courage, and we can’t wait to see where these indelible characters go next.”
The Good Fight Season 2 Release: When Will It Be Out?
With its hit and the news of renewal, more announcement can be expected soon about the show. There has been no official news about when the show will air.
But, with its constant release date that has been February 2017 for season one, March 2018 for season two and March 2019 for season three; Season four is expected to air during March 2020.
With the lack of intel, this is the best guess as it has not yet broken the pattern until now, so why will they break in the future.
The Good Fight Season 4 Cast: Who Will Return?
Seeing that there has been no death as of yet on the show, MOST of the cast is expected to be back.
Rose Leslie who is playing the role of Maia Rindell won’t be back for the next season as it was shown during the ending of season three that she is off to Washington DC for good.
The main character of the show Diane Lockhart whose role is played by Christine Baranski is expected to be back along with Cush Jumbo as Lucca Quinn, Delroy Lindo as Adrian Boseman, and Sarah Steele as Marissa Gold.
These are all the cast we can say that is expected to be back since no official announcement has been made yet. There might be some new cast introduced. But as of now, nothing could be guaranteed.
The Good Fight Season 4 Plot: What Is Going To Happen?
With its evolution to political satire, The Good Fight Season three is expected to have more controversial lines. Direct criticism of Trump cannot be missed in the show, and the audience wouldn’t mind more of those (All in good sport, right?).
With the election season coming fans expect that there would be some discussion about the electoral system. The election interference is considered to be the current number-one threat to the security of the United States at the time of writing, and then talk about it in the show won’t go underappreciated.
All in all, we can expect the coming season of the show an interesting one with a lot of controversies. Who doesn’t like the good old controversial talk though?
All we can do for now is wait for more news about the upcoming season. Hope we won’t have to wait long.
