Don’t you hate it when TV shows or movie change some important stuff from the books they’re adapting? Many of these moments give you important character development and world-building. Their absence makes the story flow a little worse, or have less of an emotional impact.
This is especially frustrating when you know how good a certain part of the story is. You sit down and watch the movie or TV show adaptation, waiting for it to come up, but it never does.
In other instances, not only do filmmakers and showrunners cut out great parts from the book, but they replace them with something worse. Sometimes, you read about something thinking it would look incredible on the big screen, but nope. It’s not there at all.
This could be anything, from an epic location to a fun action sequence, even an important character. But too bad, it’s not in the adaptation.
